[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to give unmarried couples who live together (cohabitants) stronger legal rights and protections. Currently, unmarried partners have very few legal protections compared to married couples, this bill would change that by allowing them to make claims on property, pensions, and inheritance in certain circumstances.
Presented by Lord Marks of Henley-on-Thames.
