[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would give unmarried couples who live together some of the same legal rights as married couples. Currently, cohabiting partners have very few legal protections if they split up or one partner dies. The bill aims to change this by allowing cohabitants to claim support and inheritance rights in certain situations.

Presented by Lord Lester of Herne Hill.
