Children's Clothing (Value Added Tax) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill proposes removing VAT (a 20% sales tax) from children's clothing. Currently, most clothes for kids are taxed the same as adult clothes, but this bill would make children's clothing cheaper by exempting it from tax, similar to how children's books and some food items are already handled.

Presented by Sir Christopher Chope.
