[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill proposes to raise the age at which children can be prosecuted as criminals in England and Wales. Currently, children as young as 10 can be taken to court, but this bill would increase that age, meaning very young children would go through a different system focused on support rather than criminal punishment.
Presented by Lord Dholakia.
