[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill proposes to raise the age at which children can be prosecuted and punished as criminals in the UK. Currently, children as young as 10 can be charged with crimes, but this bill would increase that age limit, meaning younger children would be dealt with through education and welfare support instead of the criminal courts.
Presented by Lord Dholakia.
