Broadcasting (Television Licence Fee Abolition) Bill

This bill would abolish the television licence fee the annual charge that UK households must currently pay to watch live TV or use BBC iPlayer. Instead of this system, the BBC and other broadcasters would need to find different ways to pay for their services, such as advertising or subscription fees.
