British Broadcasting Corporation (Privatisation) Bill

This bill proposes to privatise the BBC changing it from a public service funded by TV licence fees into a private company. Currently, the BBC is owned by the public and funded by mandatory TV licence payments; this bill would end that arrangement and allow private ownership instead.
