Public Bodies (Disposal of Assets) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill gives public sector organisations (government bodies, councils, hospitals, etc.) more flexibility to sell their assets like buildings and land without needing as much government approval. The idea is to help these organisations raise money and manage their property better, though there are concerns about losing public assets permanently.
Presented by Mr Christopher Chope.
