Principal Local Authorities (Grounds for Abolition) Bill

This bill sets out the legal reasons and conditions under which principal local authorities (the main councils that run local areas) could be abolished by the government. It creates a clearer framework for when this can happen, rather than leaving it openended or decided casebycase.
