[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill strengthens the Local Government Ombudsman's ability to investigate complaints from people who think their local council has treated them unfairly or made a bad decision. It gives the Ombudsman the power to actually review and change council decisions, rather than just investigating complaints, making it easier for residents to get justice when something goes wrong.
Presented by Mr Christopher Chope.
