Domestic Energy (Value Added Tax) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill proposes to lower the Value Added Tax (VAT) on domestic energy the tax people pay when they buy gas and electricity for their homes. Currently VAT is charged at the standard rate; this bill would reduce it, meaning households would see lower energy bills.

Presented by Sir Christopher Chope.
