Domestic Energy (Value Added Tax) Bill

This bill proposes to lower the Value Added Tax (VAT) charged on domestic energy bills. Currently, VAT is added to household gas and electricity bills; this bill would reduce that tax rate, making energy bills cheaper for homes across the UK.
