This Act toughens the UK's response to terrorism by increasing prison sentences for terrorrelated crimes, allowing courts to extend sentences for dangerous offenders, and giving authorities stronger powers to monitor and prevent terrorist activities. It aims to make it harder for terrorists to operate and to punish them more severely when caught.
