Carers Bedroom Entitlement (Social Housing Sector) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would change the rules so that carers living in social housing don't lose money from their housing benefits if they have a spare bedroom. Currently, people can be penalised for having 'extra' rooms, but this bill would exempt carers who need that space to do their caring work.
Presented by Barbara Keeley.
