Social Care (Local Sufficiency) and Identification of Carers Bill

This bill aims to ensure every local area in the UK has enough social care services to meet people's needs, and to better identify and support carers (often family members who look after loved ones without being paid). It puts new duties on councils to plan and provide adequate care, while also recognising the important role unpaid carers play.
