Vagrancy (Repeal) Bill

This bill removes old vagrancy laws that date back to the 1800s and have historically been used to punish homeless people and poor travellers. Instead of criminalising homelessness, the bill aims to treat rough sleeping as a social problem that should be solved through housing and support, rather than through the criminal justice system.
