Vagrancy (Repeal) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would get rid of old vagrancy laws (dating back to the 1800s) that make it a crime to be homeless or beg in public. Instead of treating homelessness as a criminal issue, the focus would shift to providing people with housing support and social services to help them off the streets.
Presented by Layla Moran.
