Recall of Members of Parliament Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would allow voters in a constituency to force a byelection and remove their MP from office if enough people sign a recall petition. Currently, MPs can only be removed by voters at the next general election; this bill would give constituents the power to trigger an early removal between elections.
Presented by Zac Goldsmith.
