Pregnancy and Maternity (Redundancy Protection) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to make it harder for employers to dismiss pregnant women or those on maternity leave through redundancy. It strengthens the legal protections these workers currently have, so they can't be singled out for redundancy simply because they're pregnant or taking time off to have a baby.
Presented by Mrs Maria Miller.
