Pregnancy and Maternity (Redundancy Protection) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to strengthen legal protections for pregnant women and mothers returning from maternity leave. It would make it harder for employers to make these workers redundant and would likely increase penalties if they break these rules, to ensure pregnant women and new mothers aren't unfairly pushed out of their jobs.
Presented by Mrs Maria Miller.
