Planning (Subterranean Development) Bill [HL]

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill creates new planning rules for underground building projects. Currently, the planning system treats underground development the same as surface building, which can be confusing. The bill aims to make it clearer and potentially simpler for developers to get permission for things like basement extensions, underground car parks, or storage facilities.

Presented by Lord Dubs.
