Extension of Franchise (House of Lords) Bill [HL]

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would allow more British citizens to vote in elections for the House of Lords, rather than limiting voting to just certain groups. Currently, most House of Lords members are appointed rather than elected, so this bill is about expanding democratic participation in how the Upper House is chosen.

Presented by Lord Dubs.
