Official Development Assistance Equalities Impact Assessment (Women and Girls) Bill

This bill requires the UK government to regularly examine and report on whether its overseas development aid (money given to help poorer countries) is having a fair impact on women and girls. It aims to make sure that aid programmes don't accidentally make gender inequality worse and actually help improve women's and girls' lives.
