Marriage (Same Sex Couples) (Overseas Territories) Bill [HL]
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would extend samesex marriage rights to British overseas territories that don't currently allow it. Currently, samesex couples can marry in the UK, but some of Britain's overseas territories still ban it. The bill would change this by requiring those territories to recognize samesex marriage as legal.
Presented by Lord Cashman.
