A
BILL
to

This bill gives local planning authorities (town councils) stronger powers to make decisions about energy efficiency and renewable energy in new buildings and renovations in their areas. It aims to help tackle climate change by ensuring buildings use less energy and are built more sustainably, rather than having these decisions made only by central government.
