Climate Change (Sectoral Targets) Bill

This bill requires the UK government to set binding carbon reduction targets for different sectors of the economy and report on progress regularly. Instead of one overall climate goal, each industry would have its own specific target to hit, making the government more accountable for tackling climate change across the whole economy.
