Armed Forces Deployment (Royal Prerogative) Bill [HL]

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill aims to limit the Prime Minister's power to send armed forces into military action without first getting Parliament's permission. Currently, this is one of the few major decisions a PM can make alone, but this bill would change that by requiring a parliamentary vote before troops are deployed to armed conflict.

Presented by Baroness Falkner of Margravine.
