Armed Forces Deployment (Royal Prerogative) Bill [HL]

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill takes away the Prime Minister's power to send the armed forces to war without asking Parliament first. Currently, the PM can do this using an old royal power. The bill would make Parliament vote and approve any military action before it happens, giving elected MPs more say in major military decisions.

Presented by Baroness Falkner of Margravine.
