Crown Estate (Wales) Bill [HL]

to
The Crown Estate (Wales) Bill transfers management of Crown Estate assets in Wales from Westminster to Welsh control. Currently, the Crown Estate (which owns significant land, property, and seabed rights across the UK) is managed centrally by a body answerable to Parliament. This bill would establish Welsh management of Welsh Crown Estate assets, allowing Wales to retain revenues from these assets and make decisions about their use. This represents a devolution of economic control over substantial Welsh resources, particularly valuable seabed areas used for renewable energy.
