Unsolicited Telephone Calls (Caller Line Identification) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill aims to tackle nuisance and scam phone calls by requiring telephone networks to display the real caller line identification (the genuine phone number) on people's phones. Currently, scammers can hide their real number and show a fake one instead, which makes it difficult for people to know who is actually calling them.

Presented by Alun Cairns.
