UK Elected Representatives (Disclosure of Party Membership) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would require UK elected representatives (like MPs) to officially disclose and publicly declare their political party membership. Currently, while most elected officials are openly associated with parties, this bill would make such disclosure a legal requirement rather than just common practice.
Presented by Mr David Hanson.
