House of Lords (Exclusion of Hereditary Peers) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would stop people from automatically having a seat in the House of Lords just because they inherited a noble title. Currently, some peers can sit in the Lords simply because their family has held a title for generations; this bill would end that practice.
Presented by Mr David Hanson.
