Bilingual Juries (Wales) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would allow Welsh to be used in jury trials in Wales. Currently, jurors must use English even if Welsh is their first language. The bill aims to give Welsh speakers the choice to use their own language during court proceedings, similar to rights they have in other parts of the Welsh legal system.

Presented by Hywel Williams.
