Social Care Portability Bill [HL]
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to make it easier for people receiving social care to keep their care arrangements when they move to a different part of the country. Currently, people often have to apply for new care packages in their new local area, which can cause delays and disruption. The bill would try to allow their existing care to 'travel with them' instead.
Presented by Baroness Campbell of Surbiton.
