Scottish Referendum (Consultation) Bill [HL]

This bill would require the UK government to hold a proper consultation (asking for people's views) before allowing Scotland to hold another independence referendum. Essentially, it puts a legal requirement in place to listen to Scottish people before any new vote on whether Scotland should leave the UK happens.
