Benefit Cap (Report on Abolition) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill asks the government to write and publish a detailed report on what would happen if the UK's benefit cap was abolished (completely removed). The benefit cap currently limits the total amount of welfare payments a household can receive each week. The report would help Parliament understand the costs, impacts on families, and other consequences before deciding whether to actually remove the cap.

Presented by David Linden.
