Puppy Import (Prohibition) Bill

This bill would make it illegal to import puppies into the United Kingdom. The government believes this will help stop cruel puppy farming practices, improve animal welfare standards, and protect British breeding businesses by preventing cheaper puppies from abroad being sold in the UK.
