Protection from Redundancy (Pregnancy and Family Leave) Act 2023

This Act stops employers from firing or making pregnant women or parents on family leave redundant without very strong business reasons. It gives extra legal protection to pregnant employees and those taking maternity, paternity, or parental leave so they can't be targeted for redundancy during these vulnerable times.
