Prime Minister (Temporary Replacement) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill creates an official, temporary way to replace the Prime Minister if they're unable to work. Instead of leaving it unclear or relying on unwritten rules, it would set out exactly how a standin PM is chosen and how long they can serve until the main PM returns or a new one is properly elected.
Presented by Mr Peter Bone.
