This Act puts into law an agreement made at Stormont (the Northern Ireland Parliament) to improve how the government runs and to help solve longstanding problems in the region. It's designed to ensure the peace process continues and that politicians from different backgrounds can cooperate on practical issues that affect people's daily lives.
