Automatic Electoral Registration (School Students) Bill [HL]
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill proposes that schools should automatically register students to vote when they reach voting age, rather than waiting for young people to register themselves. Currently, people have to actively apply to be on the electoral register, but this bill would make registration happen automatically through the school system instead.
Presented by Lord Roberts of Llandudno.
