Ministerial Interests (Emergency Powers) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would allow government ministers to temporarily ignore the normal rules about declaring their financial interests and business dealings when the country faces an emergency. It's designed to let them respond quickly to crises, but raises questions about whether this could lead to unfair decisions that benefit ministers personally.

Presented by Owen Thompson.
