Ministerial Interests (Public Appointments) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to make sure that when government ministers appoint people to public sector jobs (like on councils or boards), they do so fairly and openly, rather than just giving jobs to people they know personally. It would require better checking and reporting of these appointments so the public can trust the process is honest.
Presented by Owen Thompson.
