[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would make it legal in England and Wales for terminally ill adults (expected to die within 6 months) to ask a doctor to help them end their life. It would require strict safeguards like multiple doctor approvals and waiting periods, but would change current law where assisting someone's death is illegal.
Presented by Lord Falconer of Thoroton.
