Armenian Genocide (Recognition) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill asks the UK Parliament to officially recognise and acknowledge that the mass killing of around 1.5 million Armenian people between 19151923 was genocide. Currently, the UK government hasn't made an official statement on this, though many other countries and historians say it was genocide. The bill would change this by making Parliament's position clear.

Presented by John Spellar.
