Homeless People (Current Accounts) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill aims to make it easier for homeless people to open current bank accounts. Currently, banks often require proof of address, which homeless people don't have. The bill would require banks to remove this barrier so homeless people can access banking services and receive government support payments.

Presented by Mr Peter Bone.
