Genocide Determination Bill [HL]

This bill would allow the UK Parliament to formally declare and recognise when genocide has taken place anywhere in the world. Currently, only international courts make these official determinations, so this bill would give Parliament a new power to make its own assessments about whether events meet the definition of genocide.
