This bill updates the 2004 Gangmasters Licensing Act, which stops criminal gangs from exploiting workers by forcing them into poor working conditions. The amendment aims to close loopholes and improve protections for vulnerable workers who might be underpaid, overworked, or treated unfairly by unscrupulous employers.
