European Convention on Human Rights (Withdrawal) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill proposes to remove the UK from the European Convention on Human Rights (an international agreement that protects basic human rights) and create a new British Bill of Rights instead. It would mean UK courts would no longer follow European Court rulings and British people would have fewer ways to appeal to international courts for help.
Presented by Mr Peter Bone.
