European Convention on Human Rights (Temporary Withdrawal) Bill

This bill would allow the UK to temporarily stop being bound by the European Convention on Human Rights, which is a set of rules protecting basic human rights and freedoms. It doesn't mean these rights disappear, but the UK government would have more freedom to act without checking against these international rules first.
